Mishustin Ordered to Update the Strategy for the Development of the Telecommunications Industry

Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin has instructed to prepare an updated version of the telecommunications industry development strategy until 2035, taking into account changes in external and internal economic conditions. He set this task following the "Digital Solutions" forum.

In preparing proposals for updating the strategy, the Ministry of Digital Development, the Ministry of Economic Development, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Federal Antimonopoly Service, the Federal Security Service, and the Autonomous Non-Profit Organization "Digital Economy" will be involved, along with other interested federal authorities and organizations.

The updated strategy for the telecommunications industry should be presented by March 25, 2026.
