Copper on the Exchange Updated Historical Price Maximum

Copper prices are rising during trading on December 8, according to data from the London Metal Exchange. During trading, the quotes for three-month copper futures rose by 0.4%, reaching $11,771 per ton, which is a new price record. The market is reacting to problems in copper production at major deposits, as well as to the possible imposition of import tariffs on refined copper by the US government, which has already led to an increase in stockpiles in the country and an increased risk in other regions.
