Russia Increased Cosmetics Imports from South Korea by 17%

The Russian market has increased imports of South Korean cosmetics. According to the customs service of the Republic of Korea, from January to October 2025, cosmetics worth $302.7 million were shipped to Russia, which is 16.9% more than in the same period of the previous year ($258.8 million). This result allowed Russia to rise to sixth place in the ranking of the largest importers of cosmetics from South Korea. The steady growth in shipments enabled Russia to overtake other major players and enter the list of key destinations for Korean beauty exports. The ten-month figure for 2025 ($302.7 million) has already approached the final result for the entire 2024, which amounted to $322 million, and significantly exceeded the volumes of the same period in 2023 ($270 million). The peak of shipments in the current year fell in July, when a record monthly volume of $37.5 million was recorded. In September and October, exports remained high at $34.2 million and $28.7 million, respectively.
