The cost of Russian energy coal deliveries to China has risen to its highest level since December 2024 — almost $100 per ton, according to NEFT Research data, as reported by "Kommersant". During the second week of November, the price of Russian energy coal in southern China increased by 3.5%, reaching $98 per ton. Since the beginning of the year, quotes have risen by 5.2%. Experts note that the increase in the cost of Russian energy coal on the Chinese market is due to the need to replenish reserves and supply disruptions. At the same time, demand for metallurgical coal grades is declining in the Chinese market.
