Average Deposit Size of Individuals Increased by 10% - DIA (Deposit Insurance Agency)

In Russia, as of the end of the first nine months of 2025, the average deposit size for an individual reached 425 thousand rubles. Compared to the same period last year, the indicator increased by 39 thousand rubles, or 10%. This was reported by the Deposit Insurance Agency (DIA).

During the reporting period, the total volume of deposit funds subject to insurance increased by 7.2%, reaching 80.3 trillion rubles.

Deposits of individuals amounted to 60.8 trillion rubles (+8%), deposits of individual entrepreneurs - 2.7 trillion rubles (+6.1%), funds in escrow accounts - 7 trillion rubles (+14.6%).

The most significant growth was observed in individual deposits in the range from 3 million to 10 million rubles, with an increase of 21.3% in terms of amount and 21.2% in terms of the number of depositors.
