A provision calling for an audit of all international aid received by Ukraine has been removed from the peace plan prepared by the administration of US President Donald Trump, according to The Wall Street Journal, citing an informed source.

According to the source, Ukraine requested changes to this clause of the peace plan, which implied uncovering possible corruption schemes in the country. In the final document published in the media, this clause was replaced with a provision for "full amnesty for actions committed during the war." This provision will apply to both sides of the conflict.

  • Earlier, a peace plan for resolving the Russian-Ukrainian conflict was published. It is expected that the President of Ukraine will sign the document on November 27, after which it will be handed over to Moscow.
