This follows from a plan prepared by the US presidential administration and approved by Trump. According to it, Ukraine should give up part of its territories, in particular Donbass. This information is reported by The Telegraph, citing sources. The publication specifies that according to the Ukrainian constitution, the issue of transferring territory should be decided by a nationwide vote or without it in case of transferring land under a lease agreement. The plan suggests that Kyiv will "cede control" over Donbass, while Moscow will "pay rent for actual control over the region."
