In October, the top-selling new car brands in Russia were a Russian brand and two Chinese brands.

Record annual sales of new cars were recorded in October. Thus, more than 165,702 new passenger cars were sold only in the past month, according to calculations. And this result is the highest since November last year, according to Autostat. However, more than 165,700 cars is still 3.2% less than was sold in October last year. The Russian market is still dominated by the domestic brand LADA. In October, 33,251 cars of this brand were sold, or 20% of the total volume. Among foreign brands, Haval was again the best. In October, 26,125 units were sold. Geely also made it into the top three best-selling brands with 14,238 units sold. In total, 1,061,625 new passenger cars were sold in Russia over the first 10 months. Sales are down by 19.9% compared to January-October last year.
