The number of shawarma poisoning cases in Ulan-Ude increased to 89 people

The total number of reported cases of acute intestinal infection in Ulan-Ude has increased to 89 people. Such data as of the morning of October 20 is reported by the regional Ministry of Health.

There are 49 children among the poisoned. Salmonellosis was confirmed in 11 cases.

The condition of the poisoned is assessed as stable, one of the victims is in intensive care with positive dynamics.

Previously it was reported that all the victims ate ready-made products (shawarma, onigiri, etc.) produced by the Vostok company and sold through the Nikolaevsky retail chain.
