The court imposed interim measures on the property and accounts of the former deputy head of the Tambov region Sergey Ivanov. This is reported by Izvestia with reference to law enforcement agencies.

The arrest implies a ban on any transactions with property or the alienation of assets of the ex-official.

Sergei Ivanov is being held as a defendant in a criminal case initiated against Vadim Moshkovich, the founder of Rusagro Holding, and Maxim Basov, the former CEO of the holding. According to law enforcement officials, Ivanov, holding the post of vice-governor of the Tambov region and overseeing the agro-industrial complex, received from Moshkovich a bribe of 2.6 million rubles for patronizing the business interests of the holding.
