The Ministry of Industry and Trade has requested 259 billion rubles from the National Welfare Fund for the development of the Russian aviation industry

In 2025, the Ministry of Industry and Trade expects to receive 259 billion rubles for the development of the Russian aviation industry, in particular, to finance the supply of aircraft already ordered and to implement a new helicopter program. This was announced by the head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Anton Alikhanov, speaking at a meeting of the Duma Committee on Budget and Taxes.

The head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade plans to receive funds from the National Welfare Fund (NWF), as well as from the proceeds from the sale of various assets.

According to Alikhanov, the main task of the Ministry of Industry and Trade today is to complete the process of creating production facilities, completing the certification process for new aircraft, helicopters and engines, as well as fine-tuning all models to the flight specifications necessary for airlines.
