Sergey Les, the head of the administration of the Krymsky district of the Krasnodar Territory, has been taken into custody. The corresponding decision was made by the Oktyabrsky District Court of Krasnodar, the united press service of the courts of the Krasnodar Territory reports.
The preventive measure in the form of detention was chosen for a period of 1 month and 18 days. Les will remain in jail at least until November 29, 2025. The official is suspected of committing a crime under Article 285 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation "Abuse of official authority".
The criminal case is related to illegal land transactions. According to investigators, at the beginning of 2024, Sergey Les systematically instructed his subordinate to arrange the sale of municipal land plots without holding mandatory auctions. Transactions were concluded with a pre-determined person at a significantly reduced cost.
