Russia will respond to threats of the transfer of American Tomahawk cruise missiles to Ukraine by strengthening its missile defense system. This was stated by the Russian leader at a press conference in Dushanbe.
"Our response is to strengthen the air defense system," he stressed.Putin added that he sees elements of "blackmail" and "ponting" in Western statements about the transfer of missiles to Kiev.
Putin also said that the Russian Armed Forces will soon have new weapons, but he did not specify the details.
