Kazakhstani carriers are no longer subject to the "90 days stay" rule. This was stated by deputy of the Mazhilis (lower house) of the Parliament of Kazakhstan Bolatbek Aliyev, reportsTASS.

The day before, Russia lifted the migration restriction on carriers from Kazakhstan, concerning the rule of staying in the country without registration for no more than 90 days a year.

According to Aliev, the Government of Kazakhstan has contacted its colleagues in the Russian Federation through operational channels. Following the negotiations, it was decided not to apply the new migration restrictions to drivers engaged in international cargo and passenger transportation.

Also on October 13, the Kazakh authorities will discuss the congestion of cargo transport at checkpoints at the entrance to Russia, which occurred due to congestion at the border and complaints from drivers in connection with the new norms of the migration legislation of the Russian Federation.
