It is proposed to reduce the set of documents required to obtain a license for the retail sale of alcoholic beverages, including in the catering industry. In particular, we are talking about such information as the state registration of an organization, registration with a tax authority, confirmation of the presence of stationary retail facilities or a stationary catering facility. It is assumed that these documents will be automatically sent to the licensing authority from other departments as part of the interdepartmental electronic document management.

The deadline for reviewing applications for obtaining a license to sell alcohol in retail stores and catering establishments is planned to be reduced to 15 working days from the current 30 calendar days.

This mechanism can be activated from March 1, 2026.
