The export price of sunflower oil rose by 23% year-on-year

As of the beginning of October 2025, the cost of export supplies of Russian sunflower oil reached 1.21 thousand dollars per ton. This is reported by "Kommersant".

Compared to the same period last year, the indicator increased by 23%, with a monthly increase of 4.9%. Analysts call the achieved value the highest since November 2022.

Experts attribute the price dynamics to the increased global demand for vegetable oils. Pessimistic forecasts regarding the new sunflower harvest in the Black Sea region as a whole also have an impact.
