The government has ruled out an early end to the experiment with the self-employed

Changes in the legal regime for the self-employed, as well as the tax rate for them, are not planned until the end of the period allotted for the experiment, i.e. until the end of December 2028. This was stated in the press service of the Russian government.

- There are no plans to change the working hours of the self-employed before the experiment expires. The experiment has been conducted since 2019 and will end in 2028. During these years, the tax conditions remain the same," TASS quoted a comment from the cabinet.

Earlier, the Federation Council issued a statement a proposal to begin summarizing the results of the experiment on self-employment and consider the possibility of its completion in 2026.
