The FAS of Russia plans to develop draft laws by 2028 that will regulate the activities of marketplaces. The deadline is January 2028. The measures are included in the approved National Competition Development Plan for 2026-2030.

By January 2028, the FAS will develop draft laws on antitrust regulation of digital platforms, according to a press release from the Government of the Russian Federation.

In addition, the FAS has other responsibilities. In particular, by January 2029, the service will have to submit a report to the Government on the launch of new GIS modules for the prevention, detection and suppression of agreements restricting competition.

By the end of 2027, the FAS will create a portal where it will be possible to find out information on demand and supply for innovative and high-tech products and technologies.

And in October 2026, the Antimonopoly Service, together with the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Economic Development, will prepare a number of proposals that would make both dealers and independent service stations have equal access to information necessary for car repair and maintenance.
