Last night on October 9, the Ukrainian Armed Forces launched a massive UAV attack on the territory of the Volgograd region. The Russian military shot down nine drones over the territory of the region.

As a result of falling debris, fires broke out on the territory of several facilities of the fuel and energy complex. This is reported by the governor of the region Andrey Bocharov. According to him, fire services are currently eliminating fires.

According to the Ministry of Defense, a total of 19 Ukrainian UAVs were intercepted and destroyed by Russian air defense forces on duty last night. In addition to the Volgograd region, drones were shot down over the territory of the Bryansk Region (3), Kursk Region (3), Belgorod Region (1), Voronezh Region (1), Orel Region (1), Saratov Region (1).
