The chairman of the Board of Directors of SUART Group, architect Alexander Suponitsky, was shot dead in St. Petersburg.

In St. Petersburg, Alexander Suponitsky, a well-known architect, chairman of the board of directors of the SUART group of companies, member of the Union of Architects of the USSR, was shot dead in the entrance of his own house and in front of a child. This is reported by the telegram channel "Base".

The incident occurred on the morning of October 8 in the prestigious residential complex "Tsarskaya Stolitsa" on Kremenchugskaya Street. According to sources, Suponitsky, along with a minor child, went to the elevator, where a man with a carbine was waiting for them. He ordered both of them to kneel, and then shot Suponitsky in the back of the head. After that, the shooter went down to the apartment on the floor below, where he set fire and committed suicide.

According to preliminary data, the cause of the murder was a conflict between neighbors. A criminal case has been opened into the incident.
