In Russia, according to the results of the first half of 2025, the IT industry showed growth of 15% compared to the same period last year. This was announced by the head of the Ministry of Finance Maksut Shadaev during a meeting of the Duma Committee on information policy.

- In our country, despite such a slowdown in the economy, the industry still continues to grow. If we take the data for the first six months of 2025 in comparison with the first half of 2024, then the growth is 15% in terms of sales," he stressed.

According to Shadaev, the number of employees of IT companies currently exceeds 1.1 million people, and their salaries have increased by almost 12% over the year.
