During the month, the number of individuals with brokerage accounts on the Moscow Stock Exchange increased by 244,000 to 38.6 million. During this period, they opened 73.1 million accounts. 3.5 million people participated in transactions on the stock market, 339,000 of them as qualified private investors.
The total volume of investments in shares for the reporting period amounted to 75.2 billion rubles, in bonds - 236.5 billion rubles, in fund units - 5.3 billion rubles.
