In September, sales of new passenger cars in Russia decreased by 18.7%

By the end of September 2025, 122.7 thousand units of new passenger cars were sold in Russia. Compared to the same period last year, sales decreased by 18.7%. This is reported by Autostat.

In September, Lada cars took the largest market share (21%), 26.4 thousand cars were sold. Next are Haval (16.7 thousand units), Geely (9.7 thousand units), Belgee (8.3 thousand units) and Chery (8.02 thousand).

In general, since the beginning of the year, 895.9 thousand new passenger cars have been sold in the Russian Federation, in annual terms the figure fell by 22.4%.
