The Crimean authorities have sold 100% of the Crimean Winery to the Southern Project Company (controlled by the bank of Russia). This is reported by "Kommersant".The transaction amount amounted to 1.85 billion rubles.

Rossiya Bank has been investing in the wine business in Crimea since 2017. Then the Southern Project acquired the local champagne wine factory Novy Svet for 1.55 billion rubles, and in 2020 - Massandra for 5.32 billion rubles.

The Crimean Winery unites the assets of Alef-Vinal, which were nationalized in 2023 and controlled by Ukrainian businessman Vadim Ermolaev. It was one of the largest alcohol producers in Crimea with 687 hectares of vineyards. The brand portfolio includes Villa Krim wines and "Old Crimea" cognac.

Currently, production at the Crimean Winery has been stopped. According to estimates by market participants, investments in the total amount of 1.7 billion rubles will be required to restore it. It is assumed that the company will become a member of the free economic zone, which will allow it to qualify for a reduced income tax rate and other benefits.
