The cost of living in Russia next year will be 18,939 rubles. This follows from the draft federal budget for 2026.
The minimum cost of living will be set at 20,644 rubles for the able-bodied population, 18,371 rubles for children, and 16,288 rubles for pensioners.
This year, the cost of living is 17,733 rubles, which is 14.8% higher than in 2024. For the able-bodied population, the minimum subsistence level is 19,329 rubles, for children - 17,201 rubles, for pensioners - 15,250 rubles.
