The Cabinet of Ministers of the Russian Federation will maintain a preferential insurance premium rate for the IT industry. This was announced by the head of the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation Anton Siluanov.
According to Siluanov, the special preferential treatment at the level of 7.6% for IT companies "solved its task": in general, the industry recorded a high financial result, and the wage level exceeds the average Russian level by 2.5-3 times.
"The government maintains one of the most preferential treatment regimes in the industry, setting a regressive scale: 15% within the tax base and 7.6% above," Siluanov was quoted as saying by TASS.
