In the next three years, thanks to taxes on gambling, about 300 billion rubles may be transferred to the federal budget. These figures were announced by Finance Minister Anton Siluanov in an interview with TASS.

- According to preliminary estimates, the introduction of these measures may bring about 17 billion rubles to the federal budget from corporate income tax (bookmaker offices) over three years. The gambling tax can bring about 300 billion rubles to the budget in three years," he said.

According to him, the introduction of a profit tax for bookmaker offices, as well as a tax for gambling (5% of accepted rates) are designed to increase the transparency of this sector, which "traditionally has high turnover and low tax returns."
