In August 2025, the average amount of car loans issued increased by 3% compared to July to 1.42 million rubles (in July, the figure was 1.38 million rubles), while this indicator has been growing for the sixth month in a row. In annual terms, there is a decrease of 2.7% compared to August 2024, when the average check was 1.46 million rubles.

Among the 30 leading regions in terms of car loans, Moscow (1.89 million rubles), the Moscow Region (1.72 million rubles), St. Petersburg (1.64 million rubles), the Leningrad Region (1.59 million rubles) and the Tyumen Region with Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug and Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District (1.57 million rubles) took the leading positions.

The largest monthly growth in the average car loan size was demonstrated by the Vladimir Region (+9.4%), the Kirov Region (+9.2%), the Orenburg Region (+8.3%), the Vologda Region (+7%) and the Nizhny Novgorod Region (+6.2%). In Moscow and St. Petersburg, the increase was 2.2% and 3.1%, respectively. The only region out of the top 30 where there was a decrease in the indicator was the Ryazan Region (-3.8%).
