The coast of Anapa and Temryuk region has been completely cleared of fuel oil leaking from tankers that crashed in the Kerch Strait in December 2024.

- The work on collecting the settled fuel oil from the seabed in the coastal zone has been fully completed, the operational headquarters of the Krasnodar Territory reports.

Bottom cleaning was carried out on a line of about 14 km - in the coastal areas of Anapa and several settlements of the Temryuk district: Dzhemete, Vityazevo, Veselovka, Volna, Artyushchenko.

During the entire period of cleaning the seabed, divers made more than 21,500 dives and collected fuel oil with a total weight of more than 2,000 tons.
