The Russian authorities have allowed developers to postpone the start-up of housing. This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin, TASS reports.
He stressed that the decision was taken as an anti-crisis measure. The authorities do not see any serious risks in postponing the deadline.
- We believe that we will survive this situation. The situation will improve if the key rate decreases faster," the official stressed.
According to him, the completion date has been postponed for 19% of the facilities under construction. With about 20% of developers at risk of going bankrupt. According to Khusnullin, if Russians do not invest in real estate, the share of such companies will exceed 30%.
