The export of gold by individuals from the Russian Federation through the countries of the Customs Union may be limited to 100 grams in monetary bars. This was announced by Deputy Finance Minister Alexei Moiseev during the Moscow Financial Forum, TASS reports.
According to Moiseev, the relevant initiative will be agreed upon in the near future.
- The draft decree is in a high state of readiness, we are finalizing approval and plan to submit it to the government within a few weeks so that the government can submit it to the administration. As part of the assignment that we have, we have a deadline for this to be implemented this year," he said.
He stressed that the restriction would apply only to monetary bars and would not affect jewelry.
