The creation of high-speed highways will continue in Russia. Over the next 6 years, it is planned to allocate more than 1 trillion rubles from both budgetary and extra-budgetary sources for these purposes. This was discussed at a government meeting on the development of infrastructure for all types of transport.

It is planned that at least 50 bypasses of settlements will be built in the regions by 2030. The formation of transport corridors in the southern and eastern directions will continue. For example, the Russia highway is supposed to connect St. Petersburg with Vladivostok. Seamless traffic has already been extended to Yekaterinburg, and cities in Western Siberia are next.

Today, the total length of expressways is almost 9 thousand km, and in 6 years it will exceed 10 thousand km. According to the set goal, the annual pace of launching new sections should be at least 700 km.
