The Federal Antimonopoly Service has developed a set of measures to increase oil refining in Russian regions and increase supplies to regional oil depots. This was announced by Deputy Head of the Federal Antimonopoly Service Vitaly Korolev at the Eastern Economic Forum.
According to the representative of the service, the proposed measures are aimed at fully satisfying market demand. After the market is saturated with fuel through exchange sales and its subsequent delivery, prices at gas stations are expected to stabilize.
Korolev noted that repairs at the refineries are expected to be completed in the near future. In addition, vertically integrated companies are actively working to increase processing volumes and bring enterprises to maximum capacity.
The Antimonopoly Service expects that the implementation of the proposed measures will help balance the fuel market and stabilize the price situation in the industry.
