High-speed Internet will be extended to settlements located in remote areas. The corresponding decree was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
The list approved by the government contains 70 settlements located in the territories of Tuva, Chukotka Autonomous District, and the Republic of Sakha. High-speed Internet will be extended to them due to deductions of part of the revenue of telecom operators.
This measure will increase the availability of communication services for residents of hard-to-reach areas, as well as open up access to digital services for businesses.
