The Federation Council approved an increase in the limit of payments under the European protocol in case of an accident with disputes from 100 to 200 thousand rubles

At the last plenary meeting, members of the Federation Council adopted amendments to the law on Compulsory Civil Liability Insurance for Vehicle Owners, doubling the limit on payments under the European protocol in the event of an accident with disputes.

The maximum amount of insurance compensation for CTP will increase from 100,000 to 200,000 rubles in case of registration of documents on an accident without the participation of police officers, if there are disagreements between the participants in the accident and damage photography. If there are no photos of damage, then the maximum amount of insurance compensation for CTP will be 100 thousand rubles.

We remind you that in the absence of disagreements between the participants in the accident and the presence of photos of damage, the maximum amount of payment for registration under the European protocol is 400 thousand rubles.
