Relations between Russia and Iran are developing positively, as indicated by mutual trade indicators. This was discussed during a meeting between the presidents of Russia and Iran, Vladimir Putin and Masoud Pezeshkian.

- We continue to work on our key large-scale projects. This includes the Bushehr nuclear power plant, infrastructure development, including the "North-South" route. We are discussing the possibility of cooperation in the field of gas and electricity. There is ongoing extensive work in the agricultural sector, - emphasized the Russian leader in his welcoming speech.

He also stressed that the countries are in close contact on all key international issues, including those related to the Iranian nuclear program.
