Attempts to shake up the migration situation persist in Russia. This was stated by Russian Interior Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev.

He urged his colleagues to work systematically to counter crime among migrants, stressing that there should be no illegal migrants on the streets and in the residential sector.

- Those who have lost their jobs, are expelled from university, have not been fingerprinted, are not learning the language and are not beneficial to Russian society, should leave our country," the head of the department said.
