The European Union has imposed the seventeenth package of sanctions against Russia, adding 189 vessels to the list, which are considered part of the so-called shadow fleet. The sanctions prohibit these vessels from entering EU ports. Now the total number of sub-sanctioned vessels has reached 342. 

75 individuals and legal entities were also subject to restrictions. Among them are the oil and gas company Surgutneftegaz, the machine tool holding Stan, the insurance company VSK, the gold mining company Atlas Mining, the head ofSergey Kogogin, KAMAZ, developer of unmanned aerial vehicles, Unmanned Systems, Tauride Chersonesos Museum Reserve, Volga Shipping Company, manufacturer of small arms Lobaev Arms and Rector of the National Research University "MPEI" Nikolay Rogalev.

In addition, the European Union has added 31 more companies related to sanctions evasion to the list. These companies will be subject to stricter export restrictions, including companies that own oil tankers from Turkey and Hong Kong.
