The UK expanded the sanctions list against Russia

According to an official government statement released on May 20, the UK has added 82 new positions and 18 new categories as part of its sanctions against Russia.

Among the new positions are 20 individuals and 60 organizations, of which 46 are financial institutions. In particular, the UK has imposed restrictions against the St. Petersburg Currency Exchange and the Deposit Insurance Agency.

Also, 18 vessels were sanctioned, which, according to the UK, are associated with the transportation of Russian oil.
