Russia plans to introduce criminal liability for non-compliance with the law on foreign agents. The corresponding initiative was made by Deputy Minister of Justice Oleg Sviridenko during the St. Petersburg International Legal Forum.
He noted that the fines currently in force for foreign agents are insignificant and do not contribute to compliance with the law.
