Negotiations between Russia and Ukraine in Istanbul have been going on for more than an hour. We remind you that they started at about 2 p.m. and are held in a closed format.

Let us remind you that the delegations are holding talks in the office of the Turkish President Dolmabahce.The Russian delegation is represented by Presidential Aide Vladimir Medinsky. It also includes Deputy Defense Minister Alexander Fomin, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin and Chief of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces Igor Kostyukov.The Ukrainian delegation was headed by Defense Minister Rustem Umerov, and the delegation also includes more than ten heads of defense departments.

We also remind you that the negotiations were supposed to take place the day before. The Russian delegation arrived in Istanbul on May 15, but the Ukrainian colleagues did not attend the meeting.
