The Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation is looking for a contractor to develop promising aircraft

The Ministry of Industry and Trade has announced a tender to select a contractor that will develop promising mainline and regional aircraft and aircraft equipment. The relevant materials are published on the Public Procurement website.

The contract value is 13.4 billion rubles. The total amount includes the purchase of consumables (12.6 billion rubles), wages (286.6 million rubles). If the contract amount does not change during the bidding process, the contractor will receive 40 million rubles as a profit.

Earlier, it was reported about plans to develop two aircraft: a wide-body aircraft under the working name Backbone-Integral and a regional aircraft called Region-Integral.

It is assumed that the Trunk Integral with a capacity of up to 260 passengers will be equipped with advanced PD-24 engines. The cruise speed of the liner will be 870 km/ h, and the flight range will be 10 thousand km.

The Integral Region with a maximum take-off weight of 15 tons will be designed for 40 passengers. Its cruising speed will be 700 km/h, and its maximum range will be 2.5 thousand km. It will be equipped with a hybrid power plant from a VK-2500 engine and a distributed electric power plant powered by hydrogen fuel cells. 6 electric impeller motors will be installed on the wings of the aircraft for greater ventilation and increased lift.
