Rostec reports on successful tests of the fully Russian Superjet

The first flight of the fully import-substituted SJ-100 aircraft was successful. This was announced by Rostec.

The third prototype of a fully domestic Superjet powered by PD-8 engines was tested in Komsomolsk-on-Amur. According to the company, during the flight, the stable operation of all domestic systems was confirmed, the machine showed good handling and stability in the air.

The aircraft must pass all certification tests by 2025. Deliveries of equipment for airlines will begin in 2026.
