Qatar has invested $1 billion in the Russian economy

The Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) has attracted about $1 billion in investments from Qatar into the Russian economy. This was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin during a meeting with the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.

According to the president, the current volume of investments is only a starting point for further development of cooperation. Putin stressed the significant potential for new joint projects and expressed confidence in additional investment opportunities.

The RDIF acts as a key instrument for attracting foreign investment into the Russian economy, ensuring interaction between foreign partners and domestic companies.
