Drones will be able to take off into the air again in those Russian regions where it does not threaten security. The government must resolve the issue of permission to fly drones in certain regions by the end of April this year.

President Vladimir Putin announced such an instruction during a meeting on unmanned aircraft.

"I am asking the government to prepare concrete decisions in this regard by April 30 of this year," Putin said at the meeting.

In addition, Putin instructed the government to prepare all the necessary bases for the introduction of a new class of Russian airspace for the simplified use of drones. The authorities must accept all documents regarding the flight levels of drones by June 1.
