Tourist flow from Russia to Vietnam increased by 85%

A meeting of the co-chairs of the Intergovernmental Russian-Vietnamese Commission, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko and Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha, took place in Hanoi. Issues of trade and economic cooperation, scientific and educational projects, as well as the development of tourism were discussed.

Vietnam is a popular destination for Russian tourists. Thus, the tourist flow from Russia tripled in 2023, and increased by 85% in 2024.

The growth of tourism, according to the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers, is due to an increase in flights and the introduction of an electronic visa.
