The tourist flow from Russia to Vietnam has increased by more than 80% year on year

In January-October 2024, Russians made 177.8 thousand trips to Vietnam. This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko at a meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Vietnam to the Russian Federation Dang Minh Khoy.

In comparison with the same period last year, the tourist flow from Russia to Vietnam increased by 81.5%. The tourist flow from Vietnam to Russia increased by 10% in the first half of the year. According to Chernyshenko, this was facilitated by the installation of direct flights between the countries.

In general, the trade turnover between the Russian Federation and Vietnam increased by 23% in the first nine months of 2024.
