Oil is trading at 70 USD per barrel.
The benchmark brand of BRENT oil produced in the North Sea is trading today at USD 70.30 per barrel, an increase of 1.5%.
The Russian brand of the URALS export oil mixture, consisting of the extracted high-sulfur heavy oil of the Urals, the Volga region and the West Siberian light grade SIBERIAN LIGHT, is trading at 66 USD per barrel.
The discount between oil grades has decreased to the level of 2-7 dollars per barrel.
The review was presented by Yulia Grishchenko, member of the Expert Council of the Moscow Stock Exchange on Listing, Ph.D. in Economics, Head of the Department of Financial and Investment Management of the Faculty of the Higher School of Management of the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation.
