Winter diesel sets new price record on exchange, surpassing 81,000 rubles per ton

Winter diesel fuel prices on the St. Pyotrsburg International Mercantile Exchange hit a new record high, surging above 81,000 rubles per tonne, according to trading data from October 8.
During the trading session, winter diesel prices rose by 2.49%, reaching 81,821 rubles per tonne. Meanwhile, the price of all-season diesel fell by 2.39%, settling at 66,038 rubles per tonne.
AI-92 gasoline (a common grade of fuel in Russia) saw a price drop of 0.57%, reaching 69,103 rubles per tonne, while AI-95 gasoline (a higher octane grade) increased by 0.24%, reaching 70,547 rubles per tonne.
Fuel oil prices decreased by 3.59%, dropping to 26,452 rubles per tonne, while liquefied petroleum gases (LPG) saw a price increase of 1.08%, reaching 46,195 rubles per tonne.
