Over 650 Ukrainian Drones Launch Massive Attack on Moscow Region

From the evening of October 5 to 5 a.m. on October 6, a total of 650 drones were detected heading towards the Moscow region, with Moscow Oblast experiencing one of the most intense attacks, according to Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin.

The majority of the drones were intercepted and destroyed by air defense systems at long range. A further 105 drones were eliminated as they approached Moscow, Sobyanin noted.

There have been no reports so far on the consequences of this intense night for the air defense troops (PVO, Russian acronym for air defense forces).
